    1- Set priorities

Before you start organizing your home, it's important to define your priorities. Start with the rooms that need the most attention, like the kitchen, bathroom or living room. This way, you can focus on the most important areas and avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Make a list of all the tasks that need to be done in each room, from making the bed to cleaning the floor. This will help you stay organized and not forget any important tasks.

    2- 3 boxes method

Organization is an important part of everyday life and helps keep your home clean and organized. An effective technique for keeping rooms in the house organized is to use three boxes – one for objects that go to waste, one for donations and one for objects that will be organized in that particular room.

Start by choosing a room to organize. Then, take the three boxes, place them in the center of the room and start analyzing and separating the items that are stored in that particular room in the house.

If an item is not useful, is broken, or cannot be used, put it in the trash box.

If an item is useful but you simply no longer need it, put it in the donation box. This can include clothes that no longer fit, books you've already read, toys that kids have outgrown, and more.

Finally, if an item is useful and you still need it, put it in the organization boxsave.

Once you have analyzed all the items in the room and the three boxes are full, it is time to put the organization into practice.

Using the three boxes is a simple and effective technique for keeping the rooms in the house organized. With a little practice and perseverance, you will transform your home into a clean, organized and much more pleasant space to live in.

3- Defining the organization of the space

Now that you have separated the items that will be discarded and donated, it remains to decide what type of organization you will use in the space you are organizing.

To help with organization, there are some accessories that can be used, such as organizing boxes, shelves, hooks and hangers. They help to optimize space and make the organization process easier and more efficient.

Create an organization system for each room in the house. For example, you might have a specific place to store dirty clothes, a shelf for books in the living room, and a cutlery organizer in the kitchen. This will help keep each item in its place and avoid clutter.

    4- Sustainability

Fortunately, people are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of sustainability in all areas of their lives, including home organization. This is largely due to increased awareness about the negative environmental impacts of unsustainable practices such as excessive use of plastic, waste of natural resources, and air and water pollution.

Try to adopt more sustainable practices in organizing your home, reducing waste, recycling and, if possible, opting for more ecological and sustainable cleaning products and materials.
Using energy-efficient LED bulbs and reducing the use of electronics when not in use is also an easy and important measure.

Recycling should also be part of home organization.

By recycling, we are preventing waste from accumulating in our homes, creating a feeling of mess and disorganization. Bottles, cans, cardboard, among other materials can take up unnecessary space, making the house cramped and difficult to move around.

By adopting recycling as a practice at home, we are contributing to a more sustainable planet and also to a more organized and cleaner home. Furthermore, we can encourage this practice among our neighbors and friends, creating a culture of environmental awareness and preservation.

    5- Organizers

Organizers and labeled boxes are essential tools for keeping your home organized. The importance of these items lies in the fact that they allow things to be kept in their proper place, making it easier to find them when necessary. Furthermore, the organization brings a feeling of calm and tranquility to the environment.

Organizers can be used for a variety of purposes, such as organizing clothes, shoes, books, kitchen utensils and decorative objects. They are available in different sizes, shapes and materials, adapting to different needs and decorating styles. Organizers also help save space by allowing objects to be stacked and stored more efficiently.

And so we come to the end of this post full of tips on organizing your home.

But wait, before we go, how about we take a look at an organizing technique that's a little different?

Have you ever heard about “upcycling”? This is a technique for transforming objects that would otherwise be discarded into something new and useful. And why not apply this to organizing your home?

You know that old t-shirt you no longer wear? How about turning it into a laundry bag to separate your dirty clothes? Or those glass bottles you were going to throw away? They can become an incredible holder for your bathroom. And very creative vases with glass that would otherwise be discarded?

The upcycling technique not only helps with home organization, but is also sustainable and economical. So the next time you think about throwing something away, try to imagine if it can be turned into something useful.
